Sunday Audio Worship Service – 5/17/2020
Sermon Title: Do You Love Me?
Bible Reference(s): 1 John 4:9-13 & John 21:15-19
*Hymn: Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee
- Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love
Hearts unfold like flow’rs before Thee, Opening to the sun above
Melt the clouds of sin and sadness; Drive the dark of doubt away
Giver of immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day!
- All Thy works with joy surround Thee,
Earth and heaven reflect Thy rays
Stars and angels sing around Thee, Center of unbroken praise
Field and forest, vale and mountain,
Flowery meadow, flashing sea
Chanting bird and flowing foundation Call us to rejoice in Thee!
- Mortals, join the mighty chorus Which the morning stars began
Love divine is reigning o’er us, Leading us with mercy’s hand.
Ever singing, march we onward, Victors in the midst of strife
Joyful music leads us sunward In the triumph song of life!
*Hymn: My Jesus, I Love Thee
- My Jesus, I love Thee; I know Thou art mine
For Thee all the follies of sin I resign
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou
If ever I loved Thee, My Jesus, ’tis now.
- I love Thee because Thou hast first loved me
And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now
- In mansions of glory and endless delight
I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright
I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
