For the safety of our congregation, their friends and family as well as the community at large, the decision has been made to cancel worship service, church activities and meetings, and all meetings for the various community groups that use the building for the month of May 2020. (May 1 – May 31)
As the coronavirus continues to spread, the voluntary control of potential exposure becomes increasingly important for the health and well-being of all, and especially individuals who are more vulnerable or health compromised. Healthy individuals have an important role in containing the virus by preventing personal exposure and transmission to others as well; it is imperative to continue social distancing and wearing masks!
We will continue to monitor recommendations of the Health authorities, the Federal Government and the Commonwealth of PA as the month progresses. Please watch your email for updates. For most individuals, the virus will have no serious consequences. But for others the risk is real. Watch the news and Health department updates for other community recommendations, and help contain the impact of this novel virus.
