As the coronavirus continues to spread, the voluntary control of potential exposure becomes increasingly important for the health and well-being of all, and especially individuals who are more vulnerable or health compromised. Healthy individuals have an important role in containing the virus by preventing personal exposure and transmission to others as well.
For the safety of our congregation, their friends and family as well as the community at large, the decision has been made to cancel NBB Church activities and meetings for the remainder of this week and through the weekend; this includes Saturday Work Day March 14, 2020 and Sunday Worship Service March 15, 2020.
We will continue to monitor recommendations of the Health authorities, and determine our next steps over the next few days. Please feel free to contact your deacon “shepherd” if you have concerns or other needs, and watch your email often for updates. For most individuals, the virus will have no serious consequences. But for others the risk is real. Watch the news and Health department updates for other community recommendations, and help contain the impact of this novel virus.
