We so enjoyed our Christmas Cantata, Come and See – Go and Tell, on Sunday December 16, 2018; under the fantastic leadership of our Music Director Glen Poehlmann. Following is a short synopsis of the Cantata message by Pastor Jim.

Sermon- was a very brief summary of the Cantata- a reminder of the words used Come and see Go and Tell. It hit me last week that those commands or encouragement to move and do was told at the start and the ‘end’ of Jesus life, First told by the angels to the shepherds- come and see the baby and then go and tell others the Good News of this birth. It was also what was said to the women who bravely came to the tomb of Jesus following his death. Come and see the empty the tomb, go and tell the hiding, fearful disciples – He is risen. Challenge for us- come and see the baby, come and see this life but also come and see that His life continues- no grave marker for Jesus – for He is risen. Come and see, go and tell- what a great, joyful challenge for all of us.

Blessings To You, Jim
