The New Britain Baptist Church houses and manages a community Food Larder, providing food for both individuals and families in need of assistance in Central Bucks County. The Food Larder is a designated food distribution site of the Opportunity Council of Bucks County. Support comes from government allocated funds, area churches and synagogues, the United States Postal Service, the Boy Scouts of America, the Girl Scouts of America, Keller Williams Realtors, local businesses and organizations, and individual donors. 100% of all donations of food, supplies, or financial donations directly benefit those who need the help of the Larder.

Last year, the Larder distributed over $123,000 worth of food items to nearly 175 families on a regular basis. The Larder serves clients of the Opportunity Council of Bucks County and individuals referred from churches and organizations as well as any other resident in need residing in the Central Bucks County area. Individuals or families in need may receive assistance by contacting any of the telephone numbers listed below.

The Food Larder is entirely operated and staffed by volunteers, and new volunteers are always needed! Volunteers are needed both to staff the Larder during its hours of operation, and to stock shelves in the evening. If you can spare a few hours on a weekly or on a monthly basis please contact the Volunteer Information person listed below.
