We, at New Britain Baptist Church, 22 East Butler Avenue, New Britain, will be hosting the Christian Artists Singers on Sunday evening April 17th, at 7:00 pm with light refreshments following. The concert is open to the public with no admission charge. A free-will offering will be taken which benefits Christian Artists Singers in its entirety.
The Christian Artists Singers have been proclaiming Christ in song for over thirty years, presenting concerts of sacred music for churches, nursing homes, retirement communities and community groups. Their concerts usually include a variety of sacred music including classical selections, anthems, spirituals, and hymn arrangements.
David T. Nicol is a co-founder and has been the director since 1981. Members of the group come from all over the greater Delaware Valley area from a variety of backgrounds. Their church denominational affiliations are varied as well, but they come together because of their common faith in Christ and a desire to share their Christian faith through some of the finest sacred choral music.
The Christian Artists Singers will not only inspire us in musical worship, but will also provide a great opportunity to invite our family members, neighbors, and friends and introduce them to New Britain Baptist, as well.
