At 7:30 PM on Friday evening, March 25th, six Christian Churches of five different denominations will join together with their clergy and combined choirs to observe the solemnity of Good Friday as they have for several decades as recognition of their common belief. Included in leading the service will be the clergy of Chalfont United Methodist Church, Chalfont; Lenape Valley Presbyterian Church, New Britain; New Britain Baptist Church, New Britain; Montgomery Square Methodist Church. Chalfont; St. Jude, Roman Catholic Church, Chalfont; and Pleasantville United Church of Christ, Chalfont. This year they will meet at Chalfont United Methodist Church, 11 Meadowbrook Lane Chalfont, PA 18914. All are encouraged to bring family members, friends or neighbors, regardless of their denomination.
