A large group of people, NBBC folks and friends, arrived at the home of Lydia and Levi Stoltzfus in Caernarvon, PA with excitement and in anticipation of a wonderful homemade Amish Dinner. 
Lydia & Levi and their family didn’t disappoint! Barry V. from our group gave the blessing for the meal and then we were served, with the help of Stoltzfus’ 6 year old granddaughter, a feast fit for Kings and Queens. The menu was as follows:
Pineapple jam with homemade bread
Pickled Beets
Applesauce
Cold tomatoes with shredded carrots & cheese
Chicken Legs
Sausage & carrots
Mashed potatoes with gravy
Stringbeans with tomatoes
Buttered noodles
Apple & Shoofly pie with vanilla ice cream
The sunny, warm day was filled with fun and fellowship. We left the table with joy and sadness – joy that our bellies were full with some very delicious food, sadness that we just couldn’t eat another thing!!
The only thing left to do was settle in and take a nap!
