Weekly

Fall Bible Study
Beginning on September 19th at 7:00pm, we invite you to join us for a series we're calling "Reading Familiar Parables and Hard Sayings in New Light." Together we'll be studying some familiar parables along with some "hard sayings" of Jesus to see what today's biblical scholaras are saying about them in light of the current understanding of the economic, political and social realities of the first century. We'll be looking at how these stories intersect with our own lives and how they invite us to faithful, justice-filled living.
Our time together begins with dessert and prayer, followed by conservation about the text for the evening. You can bring your own bible or use one of ours. We invite you to join our warm and open group as we deepen our faith together.
If you are interested in joining us, call the church office at 215-345-1535 for details on location.

Boy Scout Troop 41

Occasionally

Church to Go
Church to Go is an outreach to friends and members of NBBC who live in retirement communities or find it difficult to get to church each week. Four times a year we gather for worship, communion and a time of sharing and refreshments, bringing together these faithful friend on the 9th floor of Wesley Enhanced Living in Doylestown.
You can participate by joining us for worship, by offering to transport a senior, or by bringing a senior friend of your own who you know would benefit from this kind of gathering.
Please call the church office for details and the date of our next gathering.

Progressive Dinner
Periodically we enjoy an evening of fun and food by planning a meal that begins at the church and then "progresses" to several homes of our members and friends, with a different course offered in each spot. We conclude with dessert back at the church. Its great fun and a wonderful opportunity to get to know new people! Join us! Call about our October 2011 event!
